Curators Zhou Bo and Gong Zhen Invited to Serve as International Judges of Malaysia’s TERANG Projection Mapping Competition 2026

On 8 August 2026, curators Zhou Bo and Gong Zhen were invited to serve as international jury members for the TERANG Projection Mapping Competition 2026 in Malaysia. As a key segment of the George Town Festival, the event takes place at Penang Town Hall from 1 to 9 August. Centering on architectural projection creation and immersive media art, it brings together emerging creators across Southeast Asia. Relying on the city`s historic spaces for artistic practice, the competition fosters multicultural exchange and creative collision.

The competition has invited six international jury members from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam and other nations to conduct final adjudication and lead professional forum sessions. Representing Chinese jury delegates, Zhou Bo and Gong Zhen form the panel alongside distinguished international creative practitioners, taking full part in on-site final judging, industry seminars and related professional activities.
