In September 2025, curator Gong Zhen was invited to serve as an international juror for Romania`s iMapp Bucharest 2025, participating in the final evaluation and relevant professional exchange activities of this 10th anniversary event. Coinciding with the 566th anniversary celebration of Bucharest, the festival was held at Constitutiei Square in Bucharest and attracted over 200,000 attendees, standing as a benchmark event in the global field of architectural projection art.

iMapp Bucharest marked its grand 10th anniversary this year. As a highly influential light art event in Europe, it is also a core cultural symbol of Bucharest. With the theme of "Art is All Around", the festival served as an important platform for international light art exchanges, gathering award-winning artists from top light art festivals across multiple countries including China, Italy, Vietnam, Belgium, Romania, Germany and Bulgaria. On the 23,000-square-meter facade of the Palace of the Parliament of Romania, the world`s largest projection surface, these artists presented high-caliber architectural projection works that combined creativity and cutting-edge technology. Blending art into daily life, the works showcased the beauty of integration between digital art, urban spaces and living scenes.

The jury of this festival consisted of senior experts in the global fields of digital art and light performances. As a Chinese representative, Gong Zhen was invited to participate once again. He carried out the final evaluation of the entries together with other international jurors, conducting professional reviews from the dimensions of artistic creativity, technical presentation, thematic expression and cultural integration, and injecting diverse professional perspectives into the event.
