Curator Chen Yi Invited as International Jury for 2025 Malaysia's Terang Mapping Competition

In August 2025, one of our main curators, Chen Yi was invited to serve as an international juror for the TERANG Projection Mapping Competition 2025 in Malaysia. As part of the George Town Festival, the programme took place from 2 to 10 August at the Town Hall in George Town, Penang. Focusing on architectural projection mapping and immersive media art practices, the event brought together young creators from universities across Southeast Asia to present their works within a real urban setting, fostering creative expression and cross-cultural dialogue.

This year`s edition invited six international judges from Singapore, Colombia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, and China to participate in the final evaluation and forum sessions. Representing China, Chen Yi joined a panel of international creative and industry leaders, contributing to the on-site final judging and professional exchange activities.
