The 1st Chongqing Mapping Competition Concludes Successfully, Winners Announced

The final of the 1st Chongqing Mapping Competition successfully concluded at the 501 Art Base on Huangjueping Graffiti Street, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. This event took place in this industrial heritage building, which was renovated from a 1960s warehouse, as its canvas. It attracted 40 top creative teams from around the world, who used light as their language to tell stories of diverse cultures, breathing new life into the old building through digital art and showcasing the infinite possibilities of digital art and urban space. The competition not only built a communication platform for the global light art community, but also enhanced Chongqing’s influence as an international digital art destination. After multiple rounds of professional evaluation, the final judging panel comprehensively assessed the entries from the dimensions of artistic creativity, technical execution, and cultural expression to determine the final award winners.
The final award winners are as follows:Gold Award: MP-Studio (Bulgaria);Silver Award: Beijing Sunward Pictures (China), The Lost (China);Bronze Award: Re:Sorb (Germany), Hotaru Visual Guerrilla (Spain), Shanghai Bays (China).
